Carmencita

The Carmencita rebranding is a school group project involving a collaboration with a local small business and giving them a rebranding, which includes a revamped logo, packaging, advertisements, etc.

Carmencita is a small meat shop in Obando Market, owned by Nanay Carmencita Mauricio and currently passed down to her daughter Chrismer Galit , beside from fresh quality meats they also specializes in processed meats such as tocino, tapa, and longganissa.

Their processed meat products are the main focus of our project, our aim is brand the staple breakfast meats as an all day ulam, which is not only perfect for breakfast but also as lunch, dinner, and snack.

The five rays represent the five children of Nanay Carmencita

And the single ray that is attached to the semi circle represents her daughter that inherited the processed meat recipe. The symbol also resembles a frying pan.

When combined, a sun (top) and moon (below) is formed, this represents the all aroundness of their processed meat products.
