Maroon is used as the main color because it is the organization's main color, and black is used for the text.

Buklod Sining Organization is the oldest and first ever art organization in University of the East, established in 1989.

Designing the 30th batch logo, a significant year for it is the 30th Founding Anniversary of the organization, was a great honor.

The design of the logo is based from a lizard, the organization's symbol and recurring theme in the previous logos.

Baybayin symbols forming the organization's name formed the lizard symbol in the logo.
